Education Ministry

“It is he whom we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone in all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”

– Colossians 1:28

Conceptualizing the potenital of God’s people at North Tenneha is at the core of the Education Ministry. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, cast a broad and vivid vision for His people.  It is His vision that shapes and forms the vision for the North Tenneha Education Ministry.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

– Matthew 28:18-20

Education Ministry Vision

The North Tenneha Education Ministry will teach the word of God in its purity and simplicity so that it will equip the saints for Kingdom service, develop strong Christian values, challenge the saints to become spiritually mature, and inspire the saints to love the Lord with Holy Fear. Our ministry vision is dedicated to the loving memory of our former education director and leader, Nathan Hollis.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the North Tenneha Education Ministry is to teach the word of God; to equip, inspire, and challenge the saints by selecting and training teachers who strive to emulate God, who are evangelistic and God fearing servants, and who engage in the continual probing of the students’ understanding and mastery of biblical principles and standards.

The Education Department is responsible for the spiritual teaching of the Sunday morning 9:00 A.M., the Wednesday evening 7:00 P.M., and the Children’s Bible Hour at 6:00 P.M. on Sundays during the months of September – May.  Students are taught directly from the Bible with the assistance of other Bible-based resource materials.  Bible School promotions for 12 months – 12th grade are held the last Sunday of August.
